REUNION: FOUND MY BROTHER

Hi all, I just wanted to share my story with people who know what I am =
going
through so here goes.
About two weeks ago I turned 28 and for reasons I can't explain I had =
an
overwhelming need to find out about
the family that I never knew, up until then I'd had no desire to know
anything about any of them. I got in contact with a group called Jigsaw =
who
in turn gave me another number so I rang them, they sent me out an info
booklet and an application form which I filled out and sent back. It's =
about
now my story gets a little weird.
The day I before my application started to get processed one of my =
brother's
(who i had no idea existed at this stage) had asked the same people to =
track
down his "baby brother"(me), it turns out that he'd already done the =
search
earlier this year. It seems that by him doing that and me putting in my
application the connection was flagged and I was rung up by a social
worker, she gave me basic details about my family background and then
told me that I had a brother who wanted contact with me. She gave me his
phone number and address and left it up to me to decide what to =
do.......I
was talking to him within the hour (I rang mum and dad as well as my
girlfriend first). It didn't take long for us to decide to meet and he =
was
over that night! After sweating bullets all
day, there he was in front of me, he'd brought over some friends for =
moral
support (definitely a good idea) and I'd done the same, we got along =
like a
house on fire, about now the really weird bit happens, it turns out that =
not
only did we end up growing up in the same town but his dad was the =
librarian
at my high school and his brother (also adopted) was in my classes, to =
say
its a small world is an under statement.
Well that's about it minus a few family details, if anyone who reads =
this is
thinking about doing their own search I'd have to say do it, I'm so glad =
I
did.
