Iwould like to use Slimdek floor for my project and create a 3d section view trhough the building. I am having problems making the slimdek in 3d as even though it's shown cut in section once the view shifts to 3d the floor is shown as solid concrete slab. Do you have any ideas?

What you see in a 2d section of the slab, is a 2d profile of the steel deck, which is not actual 3d geometry. If you want to see the slab in 3d with the ups and downs of the deck, you need to model the slab like that, as a model in place or as a loadable family.
