Hi All,
Well, I'm still with the living. This certainly has been a rollercoaster of a ride. Just a few years ago, I was running around saying, "I'm going to live till I'm 150", and then sap(!), God said Wait a minute, here's a little gift to slow you down - cancer.
So now it's just wait and see. No major side effects except low energy, and that's the real rollercoaster. My cancer has not worsened, but as one spot gets better, another spot shows up. Overall, it's 50% better than a year ago. My major concern now is that
my liver function has shown something's going wrong in my liver, could be nothing, but ... The doctor says, "We'll keep an eye on it". Thanks!
I'm planning to start back at the museum this coming Tuesday, the 7th, and Thursday, the 9th. I'll do the best I can. My mood has been good, and I'm feeling good. My energy problem manifests itself mostly with shortness of breath and feeling tired. Mentally, I'm
ready to come back. Worst comes to worst, Toby can drag me around the museum. I'll talk with one guest, and then I can be dragged to the next. Since I lost 100 pounds, it should be easy.
I'm really looking forward to coming back,
Best to all,
Ed
