This is a celebration of the end of a religious month of fasting for Muslims.  Best to not go out, I think.

Eid al-Fitr 2026 is officially announced to be celebrated on Friday, March 20, 2026, in Saudi Arabia and several other countries, marking the end of 30 days of Ramadan. It is a joyful, 1-3 day festival starting with communal prayers, new clothing, charity, and family gatherings to break the month-long fast.
