I haven't flown the Pulse for some time. I was rusty. I didn't fly it well. The thing is the Pulse is easy to fly, but it takes a different mindset. The Pulse is configured such that motor control is on the throttle stick. Most glider-guiders, myself included, use that stick for proportional flap control. As such, the Pulse is flown with the motor running continuously, a la power plane, at half throttle. It took me awhile to adjust my flying style accordingly. I'm just lucky I didn't crash. I really need to take the Pulse out more often.
