Friday morning is setup for the F3L contest. Friday afternoon is practice for the contest.

What an airplane!
Just rewatched the excellent air-to-air footage (by Paul Mantz) of a B-36 takeoff (just past half-way thru the movie).

My Dad flew B-36s as a test pilot.  He said it was the best climbing aircraft he ever flew, and they cruised above 50k.  He said nothing could touch it - as long as all six Wasp Majors were working.
