All,
I was encouraged by Mr. Tanberg to ask our community if someone might have a small piece of the good birch ply (5 layers). I only need a piece big enough for 1 center rib on a 2M glider. This is the rib that Greg and John used for their models to add some dihedral to the center section.
I am not necessarily asking for a handout here... I will be happy to provide some compensation. I just don't want to buy a quantity for 1 rib! Thank you.

I'll check tomorrow when I get home and let you know.

Brian: I believe you are seeking material for a joiner, right?  And do you want it for a carbon tube spar?

Thomas- hold that thought. Greg I think all I need are 2 parts? A rib which John will Laser, and a joiner.
Not sure what a need for that.

No new rib required.  Just the joiner which is made from the 1/8” ply.  After the last contest in the wind, no doubts about the joiner strength anymore…

John and all,
Now that I fully understand the situation...   I have some 1/8 3-ply wood we can use John. I am sure it will be fine for the application. I will bring it over and we can cut the joiner when convenient for you.

I don’t think the 3 ply will be strong enough.  We can certainly try, but the 5 ply birch is proven.

John,
How about 2 pieces of 1/16 SiG ply laminated together? How big of a piece do we need?
