Day1: Tour to the central square. We enjoyed apple strudel in one of the many outdoor cafes. Connie and I also attended a concert that night. I took a picture of a beautiful harp. Music was classical.
Day2: I was able to book an ebike tour along the canal and Danube River. It was a welcomed change from castle/palace sightseeing. Connie did that, however.
Interesting tidbit—our group of ebikers rode along a section of the canal deemed for nude use. I wisely kept my eyes focused on the road ahead.
There must be at least ten riverboats docked here in Vienna. Three deep. At almost 200 passengers per boat, that’s nearly 2000 tourists visiting the city.
Temperature climbs to 33C (91F) in the afternoon. Fortunately, most excursions were scheduled in the morning.
