Did a long overdue update of Ethos on the X20. Since my mini Windows 11 machine is relatively new, I needed to download the Ethos Suite app and do an install. Easy enough. The Ethos Suite makes the task of updating a TX a painless process. All one has to do is put the TX in bootloader mode and connect to the computer with the proper USB cable. Next, click on the update button on Ethos Suite. Voila! I won't wait so long to do the next update.

Im at the last 1.5.x and quite content there for the remainder of this summer. Its my understanding 1.6.x code needs the Rx to be updated and re registered to the Tx requiring a small button be depressed on the Rx to get into registration mode.  That means I have to remove them from the fuse to get at them. Since the have to come out ill upgrade to "twin" Rx to take advantage of the LoRa protocol they run alongside the regular protocol.  I would like to switch antennas to the dipole at that time but in my planes this will likely be the biggest challenge!

I haven’t found a need to update the firmware on my receivers. In fact, I flew the Angela this morning using the updated X20. No problems. I’ve also bench tested the X20 with the Flip. Controls seem fine. Additionally, I likewise updated the X-Lite Tx and tested it with my DLG. Looks good too.

So far, I haven't found a need to update any receiver. Besides the X20, I also updated the X-Lite TX. Both TXs work fine with the three planes I've tested them on (one DLG and two electrics). I assume the other electrics (three) will work as well.

Sorry for delays in getting your messages posted. It seems that the Google group censor bot had its head in the cloud and determined you might be spam.
