I got my set of these diamond hole saws from Chris Pyle's estate sale.  The do this job perfectly with no tear out. I am sure there are several pilots in the club that you can borrow from to try out.

These saws are designed for drilling holes in glass and tile.  For our modeling purposes, even the cheapest sets are more than adequate.

I just bought a set.   Not expensive, but almost certainly Chinese.

Appreciate the "build" messages.   The techniques and technology of model building is a major source of enjoyment.

We should suggest others post their "builds"?
