The frame was custom built for me by Bruce Gordon. I visited his shop in the South Bay area of California (San Jose maybe) 15-20 years ago. He was still building custom frames at the time.

Bruce Gordon was a famous frame builder in the 70-90s, and maybe into the early 2000s. This is the second Bruce Gordon bike I've owned. His frames were made of steel, joined using lugs. Beautiful workmanship. This steel frame is lugless, which requires yet more fine work to create.

The frame was shipped with bottom bracket and headset. I build the wheels and installed the remaining components. The bottom bracket can be adjusted fore and aft. That's needed for a fixie type setup to get the chain snug. The bike is configured as 1x8, no derailleurs. Gears are in the 8-speed Alfina rear hub. Rim brakes, SPD pedals. Steel framed bikes have a unique riding quality. I find them silky smooth.

In terms of frame sizing, measurements are below.

1) Center of bottom bracket to top seat post, 50 cm

2) Center of bottom bracket to top of seat, 67.5 cm

Dan Roberts responded first, so I offered it to him.

That looks like one sweet ride Ernie,  how tall is the frame?  That would be good info for anyone looking to ride it.
