Sod Farm Saturday (plus some Really Good News!)

I will be calling Jessica at the sod farm tomorrow, seeking permission to fly on Saturday. I cannot go myself, but I will post here her response.

Now, the good news: I have finally heard from the new manager, Mike Hagerty. I just got a very nice text from him, explaining that things have been very hectic, and he does want to meet with us. Until we do meet, he says to continue using the sod farm as we have been, giving him enough time to adjust mowing and harvesting as needed.

I think this means we continue in this way: call Jessica on the Thursday before we want to go out on Saturday. There is no harm in asking to fly on a weekday, but it will be very important to get the word from Jessica, first.

I will be out of town virtually the rest of October, but intend to try to meet Mr. Hagerty in November. The sod farm is just too good as a contest site.
