Sisters and Brothers,

Last week, the House voted on right to work. It fell short of the 82 votes that are required on a final vote to move the legislation on to the Senate, but because of all the out-of-state groups who are pulling out all the stops to turn back workers’ rights in Missouri, the fight is not over yet.

Right now, there is a very concerted effort underway to pressure four Representatives to flip their votes, or encourage some of those who abstained from voting to vote for right to work.

Those supporting right to work will call for a vote as soon as they think they’ve got the numbers to win. We know they want that as soon as possible, even this week. It’s up to us to make sure that doesn’t happen.

Your actions are critic

If you don’t see your representative on either list, you can still call and urge them to oppose right to work legislation now and moving forward. Call toll free at 888-825-1418 and give your zip code to be directly connected to your rep.

In solidarity,

The USW
