Some interesting messages doing the rounds on the CIAM mailing lists about
2.4ghz legislation in Europe.
Looks like the EU may loose the use of 2.4Ghz for RC due to pressure from
WiMax operators.

Sorry but you should also inform about the technical reasons to forbid the
2.4GHz range:
In Europe it is only open for 10mW.
100mW if you hop between the frequencies after 400ms
Since the Graupner System is not doing this they sell it only for indoor use
because it is useless outdoor at 10mW
and a maximum range of 500m.
Also an arguement against this range is that we the RC-community are the
only group with a dedicated frequency range.
Please consider this too
