For most of these operating systems two types of driver are available: Virtual COM Port (VCP) drivers and direct (D2XX) drivers. The VCP driver emulates a standard PC serial port such that the USB device may be communicated with as a standard RS232 device. The D2XX driver allows direct access to a USB device via a DLL interface.

To locate the drivers you want to install for a device, select which of the driver types you wish to use (VCP or D2XX) and then locate the appropriate operating systems. With the exception of Windows 98 and Windows ME, all devices are supported in each driver package.

VirtIO Drivers are paravirtualized drivers for kvm/Linux (see -kvm.org/page/Virtio). In short, they enable direct (paravirtualized) access to devices and peripherals for virtual machines using them, instead of slower, emulated, ones.
A quite extended explanation about VirtIO drivers can be found here -virtio.

The 1.4.0 driver version and the latest ebsnvme-id tool (ebsnvme-id.exe) are combined in a single package. This combination allows you to install both driver and tool from a single package. For more details, see Install or upgrade AWS NVMe drivers using PowerShell.

Dell is aware that not every printer has drivers on the Dell Product Support site for the version of Windows that is installed on your computer. The drivers are posted on the Dell Product Support site should they become available. Reference Microsoft Windows 10 Compatibility with Dell Printers for a list of which printers do have drivers for Windows 11 and Windows 10.

As an alternative, installing drivers from a previous version of Windows in compatibility mode may work in the meantime. Some or all the printer functionality may still work with the version of Windows that is installed on your computer. Follow the instructions in the Remove any Existing Software and Drivers for Your Printer First section. Afterwards, follow the instructions in the Installing Drivers for Inkjets or Installing Drivers for Laser Printers section, depending on your printer.

This section provides instructions on how to remove the software and drivers for your printer that may be installed on your computer. This is needed as any remaining software and drivers may prevent the compatibility mode installation from working correctly.

Software development kit - everything you need to develop software for the Kvaser CAN and LIN interfaces. Libraries, header files, sample programs for e.g. C, C++, C#, Visual Basic and Delphi, documentation, and more. Note: you need to download and install the appropriate device drivers separately.

Windows drivers for all our CAN hardware. Please check the release notes for information on which Windows versions are supported. The package also contains a driver for a virtual CAN bus, for testing and evaluation when you don't have access to a physical CAN bus.

@robinsonjl3 Personally, as I don't really know the difference between Win8 and Win10 drivers, I'm using an old version of the VMware Tools (12.0.0) during the Windows installation, then I'm upgrading VMware Tools through the vCenter interface.

Confirmed - I saw the same thing. The instructions at -creating-optimized-windows-images-vmware-horizon-vms#i... do NOT match up to reality for me. I'm going to try the Win8 drivers (which DO appear) and hope for the best.

You can update your Windows VMs to the latest major version of the Windows I/O drivers quickly and easily by using Windows Updates, Management Agent updates, or by installing from the latest managementagentXX.msi file available at CTX235403.

These latest version of the drivers, whose version numbers start with 9 (9.x.x.x) are available for VMs with the following Windows operating systems: Windows 8.1, Windows 10, Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows Server 2016, Windows Server Core 2016, Windows Server 2019, Windows Server Core 2019.

Note: For other versions of Windows, the Management Agent automatic updates or the guest tools ISO can be used to update your I/O drivers to a newer version of the 8.2.x.x drivers. The update process described in this article does not apply to updates to the latest 8.2.x.x drivers.

If you are a Citrix Hypervisor Premium Edition customer, you can receive the latest drivers through Windows Update. If you have configured your VM to use Windows Update, the installation has the following steps:

If you are a Citrix Hypervisor Premium Edition customer, you can use the Management Agent automatic update feature to get the latest drivers. If you have configured your Management Agent to automatically update the drivers, the installation has the following steps:

Graphics drivers are updated via operating system updates. Make sure that you have the latest macOS updates by choosing Software Update from the Apple menu or via Updates in the App Store.

Be aware that notebook drivers sometimes have a different name than similar desktop drivers. Some video adapter manufacturers have other software that requires updating in addition to the video driver. Read the update instructions carefully, and contact the video adapter manufacturer directly if you don't understand the instructions.

If you need any assistance with this workaround, please feel free to reach out to our Support Team. Additionally, we will be providing an update shortly, with the new release of MacOS SafeNet drivers.

The OpenVPN community project team is proud to release OpenVPN 2.5.4. This release include a number of fixes and small improvements. One of the fixes is to password prompting on windows console when stderr redirection is in use - this breaks 2.5.x on Win11/ARM, and might also break on Win11/amd64. Windows executable and libraries are now built natively on Windows using MSVC, not cross-compiled on Linux as with earlier 2.5 releases. Windows installers include updated OpenSSL and new OpenVPN GUI. The latter includes several improvements, the most important of which is the ability to import profiles from URLs where available. Installer version I602 fixes loading of pkcs11 files on Windows. Installer version I603 fixes a bug in the version number as seen by Windows (was 2.5..4, not 2.5.4). Installer I604 fixes some small Windows issues.

Important: you will need to use the correct installer for your operating system. The Windows 10 installer works on Windows 10 and Windows Server 2016/2019. The Windows 7 installer will work on Windows 7/8/8.1/Server 2012r2. This is because of Microsoft's driver signing requirements are different for kernel-mode devices drivers, which in our case affects OpenVPN's tap driver (tap-windows6).

Important: you will need to use the correct installer for your operating system. The Windows 10 installer will not work on Windows 7/8/8.1/Server 2012r2. This is because Microsoft's driver signing requirements and tap-windows6. For the same reason you need to use an older installer with Windows Server 2016. This older installer has a local privilege escalation vulnerability issue which we cannot resolve for Windows Server 2016 until tap-windows6 passes the HLK test suite on that platform. In the meanwhile we recommend Windows Server 2016 users to avoid installing OpenVPN/tap-windows6 driver on hosts where all users can't be trusted. Users of Windows 7-10 and Server 2012r2 are recommended to update to latest installers as soon as possible.

This is primarily a maintenance release with minor bugfixes and improvements, and one security relevant fix for the Windows Interactive Service. Windows installer includes updated OpenVPN GUI and OpenSSL. Installer I601 included tap-windows6 driver 9.22.1 which had one security fix and dropped Windows Vista support. However, in installer I602 we had to revert back to tap-windows 9.21.2 due to driver getting reject on freshly installed Windows 10 rev 1607 and later when Secure Boot was enabled. The failure was due to the new, more strict driver signing requirements. The 9.22.1 version of the driver is in the process of getting approved and signed by Microsoft and will be bundled in an upcoming Windows installer.

To rule out any hardware problems. I've checked that the drives are showing a healthy status in windows advance storage settings. Also the "Windows Memory Diagnostic" did not find any problems with the RAM. I've even updated the BIOS to the latest version.

With the "windows update" service disabled, I proceeded to install the "Intel Driver & Support Assistant" and started to install the drivers in my NUC device. After each driver installation I was creating a new windows restore point and restarting the NUC device in an attempt to reproduce the problem initial problem.
