I set up last week a small home server with Arch Linux. Everything is working perfect but i have a small problem with smb shared folder. I would like to backup my phone with the Huawei Suite using the wifi but it can't find the shared folder. It write always to check if the Phone and the NAS are on the same network. I tried with an external app to manage file for Android and i can see all the shared folder. Yesterday just for trying I installed an Ubuntu on 2 different Virtual machine (1 one on Manjaro and one on Windows host) and i setted up samba. The Huawei suite can find immediately the backup folder on the wifi. I did the same experiment with Fedora and i have the same issue as in Arch.
Hi. Just wondering if anyone can help with this. There doesn't seem to be an option in the Huawei Health app for backing up my data to the cloud. I'm logged in with my Huawei ID but on that site it doesn't seem to contain anything that relates to backups or synchronisation with my device. Just lost a load of fitness data when I wiped my phone to install a new version of Android. Managed to get 10 workouts stored on the watch itself but nothing else. Anyone have or had this problem?
The Virtual Server Agent can be installed on one or more machines, so that those machines can serve as VSA proxies. A VSA proxy manages backup and restore operations for guest VMs in your environment, eliminating the need to install agents on guest VMs.
I am trying to take the backup configuration of Huawei NE80e routers thru KiwiCatTools. I have properly configured the tool and it is taking backup configuration correctly when authenticate with user-level 3.
Anyone using a cloud backup device will quickly discover that 5 GB of storage space is insufficient. The cost of upgrading to 50 GB is 1 cent in the first month and then 0.79 euros per month (as of 2020).
When the device turns on power-saving mode, it will limit the work of background programs, it will cause the HUAWEI Cloud backup incomplete. You need to make sure you turn off the power saving mode on HUAWEI devices.
There is also a very common reason that HUAWEI Cloud cannot backup: insufficient storage space. The 5GB storage space provided by HUAWEI for free is not enough for many users. When the backup space is full, the backup task will not continue.
Cloud backup has become one of the mainstream backup methods because of its convenience and flexibility. There are many cloud storage services on the market. Basically, registered accounts will have free storage space. Therefore, registering multiple cloud backup accounts to back up data is also a good method.
Then there are too many cloud backup accounts, what should I do if it is troublesome to manage? Highly recommend a cloud transfer and backup service provider - CBackup, which supports multiple mainstream cloud drives. You can back up your computer to multiple destinations with just one login, such as Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, CBackup Cloud, etc.
