Real state of the art of SOA

Dear alll,
we just introduced SOA to one of our customer which has been very
interested in the subiect.

But... what we know of SOA is that it is a great idea and that will
probably have great future
but looks somehow still "unproved", given its short life.

So the question is, are there any:

- massively used applications (e.g. small applications)

- mission critical applications (e.g. ERPs, CRMs or similar
complexity)

really designed and realized with SOA principles ?
