Hi I am using a different service and i am having some problems with dns. i
get the following error using nslookup on any other NS besides theirs:

nslookup A.ROOT-SERVERS.NET

HEADER:
opcode = QUERY, id = 50193, rcode = NAME_ERR
header flags: reply, auth. answer, want recursion.
questions = 1, answers = 0, auth. records = 1, additional = 0
QUESTIONS:
rmdigital.net., type = XX, class = 1
AUTHORITY RECORDS:
-> NET.
type = SOA, class = 1, ttl = 86400, dlen = 62
nameserver = A.ROOT-SERVERS.NET.
mailaddress = hostmaster.nsiregistry.NET.
serial number= 2001012200, refresh = 1800, retry = 900,
expire = 604800, minimum = 86400.

**complete**

Some posibilities:
1) The domain (or the change to new DNS servers) is brand new and hasn't
propogated yet -- just wait a few days
2) The servers you're using are not the authoritative ones for the
domain -- the authoritative servers appear to be ns1.dnswiz.com and
dns2.dnswiz.com (if this needs to be changed, use the forms on your
registrar's web site)
3) The registrar has placed the domain "on hold" (e.g. for non-payment
of the registration fees or renewal fees)
4) The registrar has somehow otherwise screwwed things up so that the
domain is noot in the root zone files?

Not necessarily an exhaustive list :-)

i have tried just about everything, the only thing i can think of is
networks solutions screwed something up. trying to contact them but what a
pain it has been.

thanks for the info
Eric
