Saturday at St. Luke and St. Matthew's

Hi So-Long-Sandy-ers,
A bunch of us had a great day today. Some helped on the ground at St. Luke and St. Matthew's and others went out to Staten Island to tend to distribution and canvassing needs.
The St. Lydia's folk will be working at St. Luke and St. Matthew from about 3:30 tomorrow afternoon. They will need a lot of help tomorrow loading the huge amounts of food in the sanctuary into UPS trucks (!) that have volunteered to deliver items to various areas. So drop by anytime during the day Saturday.

Hey All: For those who'd like to work on-site, there was a big need for volunteers who came with their own laptops today. They need folks with laptops to assist with volunteer intake, dispatching cars/trucks, and running the communication center. I think they even found ways for folks who just had a tablet to help for a while.
