Friends: Thank you for everything you are doing.  I participated yesterday in a clean-up organized by our friends at Rockaway Waterfront Alliance. There is energy to continue this effort today. Show up as soon as you are able today at Irish Circle at Beach 102 Street and you will be given shovels, buckets and other tools and assignment to go to homes and businesses from Beach 102 St to Beach 86th Street. Bring water, and your own face mask and gloves if you have them. The MTA has restored A service as far as Howard Beach as of 6 am this morning, and it includes regular shuttles to Mott Avenue.  For more info, on that, click this link: http://www.mta.info/news/stories/?story=869

To learn more about Rockaway Waterfront Alliance, contact Jeanne DuPont, whose information is below. Rockaway Waterfront Alliance, like Rockaway Youth Task Force, has a long-term commitment to the Rockaways, and is a good place to get connected if you think you might be in this for the long haul. Thank you for everything you are doing.
