Hi All,

Tom Welsh is now able to become active on development work again!  He's an old BT workmate (I don't mean Tom's old!)
One of the chief skills in his open source armory is monitoring using Nagios.  Wecome back Tom!

Pete S,
I was planning to use the VPN virtual machine with its own CNAME for the Nagios Server to reduce memory usage over setting up another VM.  Do you think that would be OK?

Tom,
I've set up the following wiki page with initial requirements:

Please will you sign, scan and email the contributor agreement at:

When Pete gets back to us, we can get a VM set up for you for the server.  Please will you email me what ports need to be opened!

Thanks,

Richard

Hi all,

Initially I will just need ssh access to the VM.

I have a script i usually use to install Nagios and the associated bits.
What OS you using still openSUSE? If so i will modify the script
accordingly.

My setup is all Linux based so if I need a VPN access just let me know
what type and I'm sure I can figure it out.

Good to be back on the team.

Regards

Tom
