I had some impression of this paper. It's a simple but effective scheme. The first-time trust is really problem. You can only bet on your luck. 

The term "“Trust-on-first-use” (Tofu)" is very interesting.... It has special meaning to Chinese. The current scheme is really as fragile as a tofu..
