Investigation has concluded, please see our findings below.

Findings Summary

1. CMOS battery failed.
   

Recommendation

1. Replacement of the failed CMOS battery.

Action Plan

1. Please be advised that we are currently arranging for the part <CR2032> and we will be providing an update once it is ready and on-hand with our engineer.
2. As the faulty part is a battery, kindly be advised that this will not be following the usual SLA as we do not keep batteries in stock due to their short shelf-life.
3. As confirmed, the replacement schedule will be on the 6^th of November 2024 at 2300H GMT+8. TRT Engineer will proceed with the action/s below.
1. TRT Engineer to go onsite and locate the affected asset.
2. TRT Engineer to proceed with pre-checks.
3. Client to restart the server and proceed to BIOS while TRT Engineer notes down the existing BIOS config.
4. Client to shut-down the server.
5. TRT Engineer to replace the faulty CMOS battery.
6. TRT Engineer to reconfigure the BIOS after replacement and then boot the server up.
7. TRT Engineer to condut post-checks via iDRAC and validate the current CMOS battery setup.
8. TRT Engineer to leave the site.
4. Please be advised that this activity will require 2 Hours of Maintenance Window with 1 Hour and 40 minutes of Downtime.
