Hey there,

the GET conference by Personal Genomes is handing out their "GETy Awards" in 2016, honoring projects which are dedicated to participant-driven research etc. You can read more about this at http://www.getconference.org/get2016/awards.html.

I think openSNP could fit 3 of their awards: "Sharing", "Diversity" and "Toolmaker". As you might have read, self-nominations are somewhat encouraged, so we could give it a try. What do you think?
