Hi :)

We (bunch of Digia folks) would like to get involved in browser development,
initially as an example / demo for the QML components/controls for desktop.

We're exploring options and one thing that keeps coming up in discussions is
if there was a way to base our work on Snowshoe.

One sort of condition for us is that we want to develop the code as part of
the Qt project, given the legal umbrella it provides along with the
contribution model and Gerrit.

So to cut it short, without deep thinking and planning: Do you guys think that
it would be possible to make the snowshoe codebase a part of the Qt project
gerrit, or is that totally out of the question?

Hi,

Just a heads up for the mailing list: we at INdT think this is a good idea.
And we are in touch with Simon to get the details sorted out and move
Snowshoe to the Qt project.

Cheers,

I think it's a good idea too.
