K7 Base Camp - Leaving Late June/Early July

Greetings my favorite mountain men,

I am planning a 5 day trek to K7 Base camp. We leave Karachi for Isloo either on 27 June or on 4 July.

The trek is beautiful and moderate. For a change, I am not doing something nuts this year. The greatest ascent in a day is 600m and there is a 1550 m descent on the last day. That's it. No rope crossings, no roped descents...nothing of the sort.

The catch is, that it's going to be in Ramzan, though we plan to be back before Eid.

Gimme a buzz if anyone's interested. 

Bajway, I am looking at you particularly. Come come.

Moscow, any chance we can steal you away from the baby this time?

It's a closed area so they will need permits and everything. Someone will have to help them with the documentation.

And last time some of my American friends tried to go up north, they were stopped (by the embassy and the locals I think) because of the TTP.
