Oriental Strings' sounds were exclusively recorded with players who areprofessionally dedicated to oriental style of music. Typical string instrumentsounds for the arabic genre are covered by this app. Besides rather exoticinstruments like the Chinese erhu, typical western string instruments were usedas well, but since the players of the recording sessions are focused onoriental music, those western instruments sound completely different than youmight be used to from western orchestra players.

Since this app is focused on oriental style of music, it allows you to adjustthe app's tuning system from standard well-tempered scale to any other kind oftuning system. Simply open the scale tuning editor and move individual note'stuning bars with your finger. Save your favorite scales as presets and recallthem at any time with one tap!

The Turkish Oud differs from the Arabic one and it is widely used all over the world.
The sound of this Oud is high, sharp and its weight is light. It is smaller than the Arabic Oud in size, and the length from the top of the Oud to the bottom is 58.5 cm.
In addition to that, the face of the Turkish Oud is thin, which makes its voice quite clear, without any noise.
The Turkish oud varies with the chain structure of 11 or 12. It has a unique passage among the types of oud.

Hi folks, can you tell me where and/or how I can get hold of a Middle East Sound Font that I can use to playback instruments such as Kanon, Oud or any of what is generally referred to as oriental fonts.
I would greatly appreciate it.

The tuning of Turkish Oud is much higher than most of the keys used in Persian music, so if you tune a Turkish Oud to Persian tuning (which is like Arabic tuning) it might sound different because the strings are looser.
