Please see the below details for 2013 Mother's Day Celebration activities. As you will see, while the traditional mother's day activities - free lunch for mothers and performance - remain available, there will be 3 new programs added this year - Kids’ Drawing Contest, Youth Art Craft Contest, and Mr. Creative Contest.

(Mother’s Day Celebration)
时间 (Time): 5月12 日(星期日) 11:30 am—4:00 pm
地点(Location): UNIVERSITY AT BUFFALO，Student Union Suite 150, North Campus

1. Lunch中午会餐(Lunch): 11:30 am—1:00 pm
男士志愿人员发饭 Male staffers will distribute lunch

母亲免费(Free for Mothers)
大人和11 岁以上的孩子(adults and kids 11 years and older): $ 7
4-10 岁的孩子 (4-10 years old): $ 4
3岁以下(under the age of 3): 免费(free)
Non-Member tickets:
母亲(Mothers): $7.00
大人和11 岁以上的孩子(adults and kids 11 years and older): $ 9
4-10 岁的孩子 (4-10 years old): $ 5.

3. Kids’ Drawing Contest “儿童绘画”比赛
主题 - 2013母亲节 - 献给母亲的爱
The Theme of the Contest - Dedicated to the mother's love
具体为：
a. 报名方式：从CC-WNY通知日起，至5月5日止. 所有13岁以下儿童均可参加。
b. 绘画方式：水彩，油画，中国画，铅笔画，等等均可。必须是原创作品, 不大于11’x 17’.
c. 参赛方式：将作品在5月11日交给负责人- 邱京欣/钱宁/应蕾。作品将于5月12日中午饭时展览。
d. 递交作品地点：中文學校
e. 奖励方式: 绘画老师评奖. 奖项设幼儿组（5岁以下），小学组（6-10岁），中学组（11-13岁）。每组设一等奖1名，二等奖2名，三等奖5名，其余参赛者鼓励奖。奖品为给母亲用的礼品。
Details:
a. Registration: open now through May 5, 2013. The contest is open to all kids under the age of 13.
b. Drawing must be original and may be made with any medium, including but not limited to, pen,pencil, crayon, marker, ink, oil, watercolor, and other mediums. No computer-generated material or photography will be accepted. Size: 2D version, no larger than 11’x 17’.
c. All submissions must be received by Jingxin Qiu/Ning Qian/Lei Ying on Saturday, May 11, 2013. No late submissions will be accepted.
All the drawing work submitted to this contest will be displayed at the UB Student Union on May 12.
d. The submission location：Chinese Language School ( Williamsville North High School)
e. A selection committee will choose the winners. The final winners will be announced at the event. One 1st, two 2nd and five 3rd place winners will be chosen in each age group: ages under 5, 6-10, and 11-13. The remaining contestants will get a participation award.
Prizes are lovely presents that mothers can truly use.
4. Youth Art Craft Contest “青年艺术创意”比赛
主题 - 2013母亲节 - 献给母亲的爱
The Theme of the Contest - Dedicated to the mother's love
具体为：
a. 报名方式：从CCWNY通知日起，至5月5日止.所有14岁以上青少年均可参加。
b. 作品形式: 不限。必须是原创作品.
c. 参赛方式：将作品在5月11日交给负责人- 李斌虎/牛松利。作品将于5月12日中午饭时展览。
d. 递交作品地点：中文學校。
e. 奖励方式: 若干老师评奖. 奖项设一等奖1名，二等奖2名，三等奖5名，其余参赛者鼓励奖。奖品为给母亲用的礼品。
Details:

5. Mr. Creative Contest “创意先生”比赛：
a. 比赛内容: 先生送给太太的一件精心准备的母亲节礼物
Contest: A judiciously prepared/selected Mother's Day Gift presented to the wife by the husband in a family
b. 礼物形式: 不限，但要有创意, 要获得太太首肯，让太太高兴和满意。
Gift types: Any type (no limitation), but gifts should be creative and make wife happy and satisfied.
c. 报名方式：从CC-WNY通知日起，至2013 年5月5日止.
Registration: open now through May 5, 2013
参赛方式：将作品在5月11日交给负责人- 李斌虎/牛松利。作品将于5月12日中午饭时展览。
