End-of-year Party!!

Good Afternoon, Everyone!

I hope you are enjoying the (finally!) beautiful weather today!  I know we say this every year, but it's hard to believe we are already at the end of another academic and, therefore, speech and debate year.  The leaders and I are SO very proud of each of you and hope that you are marveling at the progress you have made in these challenging and extremely important endeavors.  Each of you has grown in so many ways and you should be very proud of yourselves.  God has been glorified in your hard work, your pursuit of excellence, and the messages you have put forth.  No matter the joys or disappointments, that achievement has eternal significance!

With that said, we would love to come together one more time to celebrate our year and enjoy our own little "showcase of excellence".  We will start at 2:00 on Monday, May 23--just two weeks from today.  From 2-3:00, we will have a showcase of speeches:  if you are 1) headed to Nationals and would like the practice or 2) have a speech that you would LOVE to give one more time whether or not it is qualified to Nationals, would you let me know so we can put a schedule together?  Email me at hmm...@icloud.com.  This is a great opportunity to invite friends/family/people you know who might be interested in learning what we do.  After our showcase, we will have a party to celebrate and will take a few minutes to recognize our graduating Seniors.    

Please bring a snack or drink to share.  If it isn't too windy or rainy, all of our activities will be outside under the Pavilion.  If it's windy, we will hold the Showcase up in the Youth Room and will then head outside for the party.  

Please let me know if you are unable to attend (especially Seniors!).  We look forward to coming together one last time before the summer!
