I am so looking forward to spending time with families from all around NCFCA's Region X in a couple of weeks and again later in the summer. 

This camp is special to me! I wish that I could make it even more affordable and fit every family's calendar! It's going to be a family overnight retreat at the foot of Mt. Monadnock and a special way to connect or reconnect after the difficult disruption of the pandemic. Families from as far away as NY and PA will be joining local veteran and new families in supporting each other in our shared NCFCA ministry. We'd be thrilled to welcome you! 

Family Camp in NH - Speech, Debate, & Fairy Tale Mock Trials July 11-15.

What can you expect at camp?

• Plenty of speech, debate, and Fairy Tale Mock Trial workshops -- all led by NCFCA club leaders, professional coaches, and seasoned NCFCA alumni;
• Parent/Coach workshops to equip and encourage parents to support students and families in the NCFCA mission (to equip and challenge ambassadors for Christ to communicate truth with integrity and grace);
• Grounding in worship and God's Word;
• Camp fun, including campfires, swimming, hiking and activities with like-minded RegionX families;
• and much more!

RegionX Family Debate Camp August 3-5 in NJ

For families looking for a specialized debate camp, our family camp in NJ on August 3-5 may be for you. We are super excited to offer this more specialized camp at Schooley Mountain, NJ, and to connect/re-connect RegionX debate families with student and parent workshops led by New England Debate coaches. Marc Davis, Deidra Hall, and myself. We customize each camp to the families attending so that we can meet each camper and family where they are in their debate journey -  beginning through experienced levels.

This camp will

• be grounded in worship and God's Word,
• be 2023 NCFCA resolution-specific,
• include high-quality LD and TP sample cases,
• teach how to build strong arguments,
• teach how to card, use, and cite evidence,
• teach how to refute opponents' arguments the steelman way,
• include an intro to philosophy,
• teach how to build a narrative,
• include LD and TP practice rounds with immediate feedback,
  
• equip parents to support their students at home and in club,
• help equip club leaders,
• help parents make good TP and LD judge decisions,
• and be a wonderful time of fellowship as we join together in our family ministries to equip ambassadors to communicate truth with integrity and grace.
