Later, knowing that everything had now been finished, and so that Scripture would be fulfilled, Jesus said, “I am thirsty.”29 A jar of wine vinegar was there, so they soaked a sponge in it, put the sponge on a stalk of the hyssop plant, and lifted it to Jesus’ lips. 30 When he had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit. John 19:29-30
On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb. 2 They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, 3 but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. 4 While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning stood beside them.5 In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, “Why do you look for the living among the dead? 6 He is not here; he has risen! Luke 24:1-6
HAPPY EASTER, SNOW CLUB!!!! May you have a wonderful celebration of our risen Savior with those you love, and may you know the joy of your salvation in a new way this weekend. He lives!!
Also, I wanted to let you know that there WILL be speech coaching on Monday. Yes, it’s two days before we leave for NJ, and yes, Script Submission opens Monday. While we should not be doing any major rewriting at this point, it is a great last opportunity for coaching on presentation and perhaps find a few more blocking tweaks. I will be on hand if anyone needs help with Script Submission. If you were able to have coaching with Mrs Neumann this past Monday, it’s a great chance to make sure you’ve incorporated well her coaching (if you’ve chosen to do so). Mrs Higgins is hoping to come, so fresh eyes!! 👀 Also, it might not be a bad idea to come in one of your tournament outfits, particularly if it’s something new…just sayin’. 😉
Please let Mrs D or Mrs Spencer know if you’re planning to attend so we can figure out timing.
I am so thankful for you all and hope you are excited for Easter And Regionals! (Sorry to combine the two in one email…)
God bless,
~Mrs/Heather Murch
