Fiqh of Ramadan and Zakah on Sunday 04-19-2020 Assalamu Alaikum Respected Community Members,  A Session on "Fiqh Of Ramadan and Zakah"  with Mufti Suhail (ICOR) and Imam Abdirahman Kariye (ICOB)  Time: 2PM - 4PM Sunday April 19th, Insha Allah Join: Via Zoom: https://zoom.us/j/9990621788 Interested in learning the Fiqh of zakah and Ramadan? Join us for a special workshop with Mufti Suhail of ICOR and Imam Abdirahman of ICOB.  As two of the five pillars of Islam, Fasting and Zakah are considered to be an obligation for almost all Muslims. Yet many of us know very little about this fundamental part of our religion. Join us this Sunday for a special session and in depth look into the Fiqh of Zakah. This workshop will include but not be limited to the following topics: Rules pertaining to fasting. Upon whom is fasting compulsory and who is excused Factors that invalidate the fast Kaffarah and Fidyah for missed fasts Taraweeh - How to pray at home under COVID-19 circumstances I'tikaaf Who Zakah is obligated upon according to the Shari’ah The conditions required for Zakah How to calculate Zakah Some of the modern issues associated with Zakah (shares, retirement policies, Zakah on properties, debts etc) Questions pertaining to these subjects can be mailed before the program to a...@redmondmosque.org.
