Love Drunk produced four singles, Love Drunk, She\u2019s Got a Boyfriend Now, Two is Better than One and Heart Heart Heartbreak. For the most part, these are widely known songs for those familiar with the scene. Personally, I really like all of these songs.
But that\u2019s not why we\u2019re here today. We\u2019re here to talk about the other seven songs on the album. More specifically, we will look at the three best songs that were not featured as singles.
It\u2019s about a guy chasing a girl. Maybe they just broke up and he is having some post-dumping regret. Okay, not original whatsoever, I KNOW! I don\u2019t always listen to pop punk for deep lyrical meaning.

There is a theory on the internet that this song is about one losing his virginity, but I\u2019m going to extrapolate another meaning. (I\u2019ll allow you a short break as I know you are going to search for it\u2026)
Along with a catching melody, THIS quote is a great summary of why I love this song. We all have our shit and when you find that person who accept it and be cool with it, it\u2019s freaking incredible. (A shoutout to my amazing wife of ten years here)
My wife was obsessed with this album when it came out and I never listened to the band before. We usually differ on musical taste but she got me into this album (when we were dating) and it\u2019s music that transports me back in time to when we were young, dumb and didn't know what we didn\u2019t know.
Boys Like Girls began its Love Drunk Tour earlier this month and has been received with open arms, ear-piercing screams and sold-out venues. The group headlines the tour, which also features Cobra Starship, The Maine, A Rocket to the Moon and VersaEmerge.
The groups have already crossed the country on their month-and-a-half-long mission to spread the gospel of the pop-rock genre. Their upcoming performance at Club Nokia in Los Angeles will be the first major show for some of the performers.
VersaEmerge may not have the pop-culture presence of Cobra Starship, but its three albums have earned the band a presence within the pop-rock genre. Its band members bring their own influences to the group, adding to their distinct identity.
Much like the yellow sponge so much of the world admires, Cobra Starship, along with the other bands on tour, may find themselves marketed toward a specific group within the artistic world. As they continue into the second half of their tour, however, they will continue to spread their pop-rock love to all who will listen and further establish their true identities.
