Folks.
If you want to really learn ROS, you may want to consider purchasing the book ROS Robotics Projects by Lentin Joseph. It's produced by Packt Publishing, based in the UK. Don't buy it from Amazon-- Amazon lists the eBook at $31.19 vs. $28.00 at the Packt site.
If you want to buy it really cheap, register for a Packt account; you will from time to time get special promotions. I bought the eBook a while ago for no more than $10 under one of these promotions.
When I went to the Packt site today (as an account holder), I was offered an 80% discount for participating in their survey on technology. I don't know if this offer will be extended to new accounts, but it's sure worth a try.
I don't think Packt books are as fully vetted as those from O'Reilly, but they are much cheaper (especially with the discount offers). And this is a book that you can considered vetted.
