SNMI Elections

Dear All

The election process for the SNMI EC for year 2014-15 is already on and I must congratulate Dr. TC Kalawat and Dr. PK Pradhan for taking initiative to introduce foolproof eVoting system.

However, I understand that few persons are voting by both the methods i.e,. eVoting as well as by Ballot papers. In my opinion, the ballot papers of those persons who vote through eVoting system also  should not be counted and kept as such.

This will facilitate easy counting of votes by the election officer.

as I have come to understand, if a person votes by both methods, only one either E vote or manual vote will be counted

Dear Sir,

As per my opinion, if a person votes by both methods, only E-vote should be counted. There is a sufficient chance of misuse in manual vote.
