Dear Mr. President and other EC Members of the Society of Nuclear Medicine IndiaAs per the decision of EC of SNMI, during its meeting held at Mumbai in April 2019, I attended the AOCNMB at Shanghai and presented the status of Nuclear Medicine and SNMI during bthe closing ceremony of AOCNMB. Prior to the presentation, the flag of the AOSNMAF was transferred to me and the presentation was highly appreciated. In the presentation, it was highlighted that the meeting and examination of AOSNMAF will be held at Raipur in December 2020 in conjunction with the annual conference of SNMI.However, at the end of closing ceremony, Prof. Jun Hatazawa pointed out that there is some misunderstanding and they are prepared to hold this in India in September 2020 only. I emphasized that it will be in December 2020 as per the previous emails communications. However, he and other members did not agree and flag was not handed over. It was told that they will deliberate upon this matter and will inform accordingly. It is for the information of all and further necessary communication.Regards,BR MittalOn Wed, Apr 10, 2019 at 11:29, secretariat<secre...@asiannmschool.org> wrote:Dear Dr. Kumar,Hope you are well.During the Closing Ceremony of AOCNMB 2019, we would like to announce that the 2020 Asian Oceania Nuclear Academic Forum (AONMAF) will be held concurrently with 2020 SNMInida Conference by having the Forum Flag of AONMAF transferred to the representative from related organisation. The representative will need to present in the ceremony to accept the AONMAF Flag and to make a five minutes presentation to introduce the 2020 AONMAF and 2020 SNMIndia Conference. We have forwarded Dr. Mittal's original message below for your review. We look forward to hearing from you soon.Thank you.------------------------------------------------------------------From:Dr. BR Mittal <brmi...@yahoo.com>Send Time:2019年4月3日(星期三) 12:27To:mototora.kai <mototo...@chartwell.com.cn>; JAPAN-Jun Hatazawa 畑澤 順 <hata...@tracer.med.osaka-u.ac.jp>Cc:ANMB Committee <anmb....@gmail.com>; Asia-Gang HUANG <huan...@163.com>; INDIA-G.P.Bandopadhyaya <gur...@gmail.com>; secretariat <secre...@asiannmschool.org>; Rakesh Phulia <rkph...@hotmail.com>; Baljinder Singh <drbsin...@yahoo.com>; SNMIndia Secretary <snmindia...@gmail.com>; Ishita Sen <ibar...@gmail.com>Subject:Re: AONMAFDear Dr. Mototora Kai & Dr. Jun Hatazawa,
Thanks for your email regarding organizing the Asian Oceanian Nuclear Medicine Academic Forum (AONMAF) in India in conjunction with ANMPI conference in 2020.
Your email matter was put to ANMPI executive committee and subsequently to SNMI executive committee also, as it was felt that SNMI and AOFNMB are close partner to each other, thus ideally the priority of organizing this activity should be given to SNMI.After detailed deliberation by both the societies, it was decided in principle that SNMI is willing to organize the AOSNMAF meeting in conjunction with SNMI conference to held in December 2020 at AIIMS, Raipur, India. Now, may I request you to contact the SNMI office bearers (Dr. Rakesh Kumar - rkph...@hotmail.com, Dr. Baljinder Singh - drbsin...@yahoo.com, Mr. Ashish Jha - snmindia...@gmail.com) for the further needful to organize this activity at Raipur in December 2020.I have also looped Dr. Ishita Sen - President ANMPI in this email as she was actively involved in the deliberations. Thanks and regards,
BR Mittal
