Agenda for EC meeting 21 Sep 2013

Dear EC members,
                             EC meeting has been scheduled for 21st Sep 2013 from 10:30 am in the department of Nuclear Medicine at Apollo hospital, New Delhi. Dr. Uma Ravishankar has kindly agreed to provide us the space for the meeting in her department. The following points may kindly be noted by all for discussion in this meeting:

1. Discussion if any on minutes of previous EC meeting that was held at RMC.

2.Representation of all chapters in EC of SNM,India and communication from southern Chapter of SNM,India

3.Representation of SNM,India at EANM 13 by EC members

4.International travel grant for students for EANM,13 for information and reviewing the status. Eligibility and present status of SR, JR, Phd student for the grants in general.

5.Web based meeting proposal

6. Technologist courses by diagnostic centers: Prof Mittal & Dr Baljinder Singh

7.SNM and ICNM election status

8.Draft proposal for  SNMI award to outstanding person with contribution to nuclear medicine in country-Dr B K  Das

9.Prposal for making a session in 45th Annual conferenceof SNMI regarding future perspective of nuclear medicine in India-Dr B K Das

10.Present status of IJNM
11. Distant education technologist course from Austrailia: Dr Pradhan

10.Any other agenda with permission of chair.

Please go through the previous minutes(have already been sent by a separate mail) and note if there is any point for discussion so that we can save time. This is a last EC meet before the RMC conference and we should make the best of it.

I am surprised to note the timing of the meeting at 10:30 a.m. 

To the best of my knowledge, it was never communicated.

I have already booked my flight reaching Delhi airport at about 1:30 p.m.

If the meeting is at 10:30 a.m., I regret to inform my availability to attend the same.

Dear all

            Please note that the EC meeting has been rescheduled to 3:30 pm onwards but will start the meeting on time. It has been done for the convenience of all EC members who may be arriving late in the day including Prof. Mittal. I hope the timing is acceptable to all since we can wind up the meeting in about 3 hrs. This message is being sent after discussing with and on behalf of the President SNMI. We want maximum members to attend the meeting.

Thanks for the prompt response.

I was under the impression that meeting will be after NC-SNMI academic meeting.The whole purpose of having the EC meeting in Apollo Hospital was to attend the academic activity also, as previously communicated to the President.
