BMC Family Medicine Residency Program: 

(1) NEXT WEEK: Virtual Event -- Why BMC Family Medicine? A cozy fireside chats.
To kick off the beginning of fall and application seasons, join a few of our faculty and residents as we talk about what we love about Boston Medical Center's Family Medicine Residency Program! The event will cover program highlights, logistics of our application/interview process, followed by an open Q&A session with our panelists. After the event, there will be an optional zoom meeting where applicants can meet more of our fellow residents and have an informal Q&A with residents only. Sign up info below! We are excited to meet you all and share what we love about our program (spoiler: inspiration, friendship, and support among our co-residents are some of many reasons)!

(2) For applicants from backgrounds underrepresented in medicine, please join Boston Medical Center's GME office for an institution-wide virtual residency and fellowship showcase on Friday, October 1st from 1:00-3:30PM EST to hear from leadership and current trainees about the many ways BMC is dedicated to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Afterwards, you will be able to join Program Directors and residents/fellows from a variety of programs in breakout rooms for any other questions you have! Southern Illinois University School of Medicine Psychiatry Open House: 

SIU's department of psychiatry is doing a series of diversity open house sessions. They will occur over zoom and will provide opportunities to meet program faculty and discuss what their program has to offer. Please see the attached flyer for more details! 

Weill Cornell Medicine/NYP Residency Diversity Open House:  

The Department of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine (WCM), WCM-New York Presbyterian Residency Programs, Minority Housestaff Committee, and WCM Diversity Center of Excellence are pleased to invite medical students to the annual “Make Your Match” program. 

 

The Make Your Match Program is a diversity open house that provides medical students with more information about the residency match process and will take place virtually from 12-3pm on Saturday, September 18. Kaiser Permanente Northern California Medical Student Scholarship 

We are proud to announce the 2022 Kaiser Permanente Northern California Medical Student Scholarship will begin accepting applications September 1, 2021!

 

Current third-year medical students with a demonstrated commitment to underserved communities are encouraged to apply for a chance to earn a $5,000 scholarship.

 

Applications open September 1, 2021 and must be submitted by November 30, 2021.
