Sinai Summer Scholars Program-Community Health Immersion Application
2022 Immersive Summer Program | July 5th – August 16th
Application Deadline: Friday, April 15
This program is designed to encourage historically marginalized populations in medical education to explore their passion towards advancing health equity through connecting with Sinai Chicago and our community of west side patients. The program will have both virtual and in-person (hybrid) components, based on current and developingCOVID-19 regulations and precautions.
Program Details
· 6-week summer program with 2 primary tracks: Research and Community Service
· Stipend of $4500
· Final creative presentation of your work

Program Criteria
· Must be a current first-year medical student at the time of application submission
· Must be available to complete the entire duration of the 6-week program
· Demonstrated commitment and achievement in community health and culturally sensitive care
· Applications must include:
1) Completed essays
2) CV
3) Letter of good standing from your medical school
