Need urgent help- Impending Bone Marrow Transplant of Dimpy Das

Hope you all are doing well

 

Following mail is about Dimpy Das who is fighting with blood cancer. She really need a quick help please go over the mail and kindly spread the message among your circles.

   

Dimpy Das had been diagnosed with blood cancer (Acute Myeloid Leukemia) and has been taking treatment in Manipal Hospital, Bangalore, under the supervision of Dr. Amit Rauthan since Dec 2013. This is a cancer relapse and needs to be cured immediately by a Bone Marrow transplant. As you may know, it is an expensive treatment. Through the donations we received so far, Dimpy has undergone six cycles of chemotherapy until now and she has attained remission. And doctor had suggested for bone marrow transplant for her.

 

Bone Marrow transplant needs to be done for complete cure and we have no funds left with us now. According to the estimate letter attached, we need another 12 lakhs rupees for her treatment. We had raised 2.5 lakhs since 10th Feb,2015.We have to raise 9.5 Lakhs more in next 10 days (25th Feb, 2015). We are racing against time.

 

We, a small group of friends have been trying to save her from past four months by generating funds for her treatment,  Dimpy is very poor, and her family has been bankrupt taking care of her treatment till now. 

 

We have taken it as a mission to save her life. Kindly support us in saving our friend.

 

Dimpy’s background:

Dimpy is 22 years old. She is a graduate in hotel management and was working for Urban Hotel in Bangalore before cancer struck her. She is a sweet girl, mentally very strong & a big  inspiration for all us. She wants to survive, support other cancer  patients in future and achieve lot many things in life.

Her family: Dimpy is from a very poor background. She lost her dad when she was in her primary school and her mom is a home maker. She was the sole earning member in her family. After being diagnosed with cancer, she lost her job and is undergoing a bad phase. Her mom’s situation is even worse. She is dying every day thinking whether her daughter will be alive or not.

 

Attached is a letter from Doctor that was given earlier and some of Dimpy’s pictures earlier & current pictures. In two of the pictures attached, you can see visually impaired people who had come to donate blood for her which was a great miracle in Dimpy's story.
