I have published links like this: http://snipurl.com/ xxyyzz
(The xxyyzz is not a real one, just an example, no spaces...)
Now, when try using those old links, they all fail...
... Snipurl not found, or private, or spam-protected.
When I login to the new site, they are not visible...
... No snipped URLs found.
Is the old database gone?
That is weird, and should not be happening. Can you give me an example
of some of these snippings? I myself have over 4000 snippings, and
even the oldest ones work. Please give me some examples and let me see
what the issue is. Thanks for bringing this to my attention, and don't
worry, I have several backups of the old DB, but I doubt they'll be
needed.

Also, when I log into the old site, MYSNIPURL gives this error, still:
... No URLs found, or user not logged in. Please use the new
MYSNIPURL at our beta site.
I will email you more details.

I think I know what the problem is. In the new system, if a snipping
has a nickname, that is what the snipurl is called. As such, if you
have used a nickname then please use that. I've just enabled the old
style for legacy support.

Yes, I am aware of this, and would actually like users to use the new
MANAGE SNIPS section to manage their snipurls. It's optimized for
speed of access, as well as accuracy, neither of which was the strong
suit of the old MYSNIPURL section.
Thanks
