Launching ST.IM and CL.LK

Dear snippers,

As we grapple with the mollases-pace of NIC.IM to solve the very frustrating issue of our SN.IM domain, I am pleased to announce two new domains: 

http://st.im 

http://cl.lk 

As always, both of these are synonyms of snipurl.com. 

So if your URL was 

   http://snipr.com/new-york

Then the following should work just the same:

   http://st.im/new-york
   http://cl.lk/new-york

Either of these can be set as your default domains in the Profile page: 

http://snipurl.com/site/profile

Naturally, given our experience with SN.IM, the question on top of our loyal user base likely is: What is the guarantee that these two domains will not meet the same fate as the SN.IM faux pas committed by NIC.IM? The best answer I have is that I am personally in touch with both the NICs (NIC.IM and NIC.LK) and have their word that they will let me know way in advance come renewal time.

How safe is it to use these new domains, in terms of they becoming
unavailable for weeks or worse pointing to a totally different site,
like what happened with sn.im?

Given your general mien in pretty much everything you write to this
list, I shall give you the short answer: chances are very good that
all my domains will stick and be live. After all, while services have
come and gone, we've been around since 2001.

Hope my commitment to getting back SN.IM despite the mistake of
*someone else* (which neither you nor I have any control over, do we?)
should be an indication.
