Location of snippets.xml file - or sharing of snippets across devices

Where is the snippets.xml file? V1.4. Would like to sync mac laptop/
mac desktop

Strangely - am not able to locate the snippets.xml file on either.
Syncing does not seem to work. Will gladly copy the xml between them.

Snippets reports where the file is, it's just not there.

By default Snippets.xml located at ~/Library/Application Support/Snippets/Snippets.xml

When you are talking about sync what do you mean? MobileMe?

It would be awesome to sync by putting this file in Dropbox.

Does it need to be in ~/Library/Application Support/Snippets/?

Mobileme syncing is dead, so what are your plans. iCloud?

Bruno, you can move Snippets.xml into Dropbox and use it for sync. You have to do the following:

• Quit Snippets
  
• Move Snippets.xml to the Dropbox for example.
• Hold down Option key when launching Snippets, click "Choose library..." and locate Snippets.xml at the new location. Next time you launch Snippets it will use this library file.
• Done.

However, be careful while using this method of syncing. Snippets does not reload changes to the database while running. So, make sure that you have only one instance of Snippets running if you make changes.

Native sync is on the way. Stay tuned.
