Pin 2.14 Issue with Sniper

I have been running a set of commands in Sniper over the past year and recently I have been encountering an issue. With commands that would previously run smoothly, I am getting "Pin app terminated abnormally due to signal 7" when issuing the run-sniper command:

I have run into the same issue with the same setup, using gcc 4.4, 4.7, and 4.9

Have you tried debugging this with the --gdb fiag to Sniper? Are you using Pin-71313? Could you try running with --sift? It would be interesting to understand if this was a Pin issue, or a bug that is happening because of a Sniper bug, as I’d like to determine the root cause of the problem and fix it (if possible). You could also try with the new Pin 3.2 patch to see if things improve (which would imply a potential bug in the version of Pin you are using).
