MDC @ APTS : Call for Presentations

The Management Developers Conference (MDC) program trains, educates and informs software development professionals about the exciting and evolving technologies for developing and deploying enterprise management solutions. This year MDC has teamed up with the Distributed Management Task Force, Inc. (DMTF) Alliance Partner Technical Symposium (APTS) to bring together the industry’s most knowledgeable and experienced software development professionals for some action packed informative technical sessions.

As an MDC@APTS presenter, you’ll benefit from the prestige and visibility associated with participating in this year’s highly-anticipated conference program. Abstracts are now being accepted for the 2013 conference program. Individuals interested in presenting at this year’s conference need to submit their abstract by Monday, April 8, 2013 for consideration.

Date Deadline
April 8, 2013 Abstract Submittal
April 22, 2013 Notifications of Selection
July 8, 2013 Presentations Due
July 22, 2013 Conference Start
July 26, 2013 Conference Ends

All MDC@APTS presentations take place during the evening of APTS. Presentations will be allowed either 50 minutes, or 1 hour and 50 minutes if additional time is needed. Both session options include 5 to 10 minutes for Q&A. Once a person is accepted as a presenter they must provide a copy of their presentation slides using our designated PowerPoint template. The deadline for inclusion into the conference proceedings will be assigned at a later date.

Speaker Responsibilities

Speakers must present new "fresh" material, not available from any other source. If a speaker is unable to fulfill their commitment, MDC@APTS reserves the right to approve the substituted presenter, find a replacement presenter and/or replace the presenter and presentation topic. Speakers will meet all deadlines including returning required forms, submitting biography information, and presentation(s) for the conference proceedings.

All time and travel expenses, including hotel, airfare, meals, etc. are the sole responsibility of the speaker.

Please use the online form available at http://dmtf.org/mdc_submission

Selection Process

MDC@APTS conducts a thorough review of all submissions and will select those strongest in technical content, market relevance and conciseness of the abstract. Abstracts deemed excessively commercial will not be selected.
