Regarding Revival of SNet at IITM in the academic year 2019-20

Hello people !

This is Sathya priya , a second year Undergraduate student pursuing an MA in Developmental studies at the Department of Humanities and social sciences. I am one of the aspiring cores for our student body Sustainability network which the current SGS elect Kushal Kumar Reddy has promised to revive. It was in the process of writing the application that I sort of bumped into this google group . Reading through the conversations , discussions present in this group , I literally got goosebumps seeing the enthusiasm and dedication this student body had as a collective. Indeed many issues that you had put a great fight including  plastic ban in insti ,usage of electronic battery cars for transport has all become true. The seeds you guys had sown has begun to grow.Given the fact that we are currently facing severe issues with waste , water management in the campus, I believe its high time SNet took an active seat in taking sustainability forward. This is what motivates me to take this initiative forward diligently in a consistent way  . Coz it is need of the hour and a necessity for the  survival of us and generations to come. 

For taking this forward , I really need a lot of guidance,fundaes and insights from all of you.And thats why I am posting this message. I have great hopes that y'all will respond back. This is the need for sustaining the student life in campus in the current batches and batches yet to come. Sooner I will post the tentative timeline of activities that we plan to conduct as a team.
