The updates till now for the summit:
Companies Contacted:
-Gamesa only we contacted.
We need to come up with a concrete cover letter as well as a good brochure to move ahead in this front. So we will need some time to make a bit of a progress here.
Professors:
-Talked to Chella. Seemed positive to help us out.
- Ajesh spoke to Nag, he also seemed positive and also mailed me and Chell regarding the same.
- Spoke to Kolar, he said that there are some German profs coming over around Feb 25th. So proposed to help us out in the Energy Sector and asked to keep it during that time if we planning to have a summit.
- I am also getting in touch with SAYEN through a personal contact.
Chella asked to contact TCS solar as they are looking for a way to associate with insti.
Chella also said we can have video conference with all the participating teams
The main work to be done is the team recruitment so that progress will be much faster. I am also thinking of removing the sustainable technology competition from the events as we are still small to be able to incentivise properly.
Once the team recruitment is done we will have a spike in our progress.
@ Jessica, one thing Subbu was suggesting was to involve the regular S-Net coords for the summit as well as they will not be having work throughout the year.
One more issue is that we have got very less applications for the coordinator posts.
And lastly very sorry for the hiatus in posting the updates.
