SmartAP-- Let's Adopt and Share Latest Methodologies to Empower Andhra Villages

Good Morning. Hope you all are doing great. 

Sorry for intruding into your inbox without knowing you personally. This is MVRao,a native of cherukumpalem village,Guntur dist, working for Paypal in California. I have seen your details in SmartAP program and thought we are travelling with similar thought processing in giving back to the society. Happy to share our experiences & ideas in developing this village adoption program in more matured way.

We got Inspired by our AP Chief Minister Mr.Nara Chandrababu Naidu gaaru and started working in Model for Village Adoption Program.As a 1st step I adopted my native Village Cherukumpalem and brought the whole village, crossing the Caste,relion & Political barriers, under one roof and named & registered it as Cherukumpalem Grama Abhivruddi Sangham(https://www.facebook.com/pages/Cherukumpalem-Village-Development-Forum). We are having regular meetings and motivating people to practise few methods which empowers the village. We got a Library cum Information centre which caters for the needs of students,farmers with needful resources & Internet facilities. We went on a massive tree plantation, with 2 saplings per household, and encouraging & supporting them in building personal toilets for a Zero% Open defection village. We started working in Drinking Water issue and preparing the village to preserve every drop of rain water. 

Brief about us: 

 Me along with a couple of friends started working for the betterment of educational facilities in Rural areas and supporting financially less fortune students from villages. With flooding support & Encouragement of friends,colleagues & even from unknown kind hearted people, it Slowly flourished into SnehaHasthaalu Foundation( WWW.SNEHAHASTHAALU.ORG ) and supporting nearly 5600/- students in Krishna & Guntur dists area from past 7 years.SnehaHasthaalu Foundation, Mainly works for the betterment of primary education by adopting Govt primary schools  in rural areas. So far we adopted 60 Govt Primary schols with 5600/- students and started improving the educational facilities, Greenery & Safe drinking water & Toilet facilities in all those schools. 

Lets we all form as online forum (FB/Google groups) and share our ideas , best practices, problems in implementing ideas ..etc towards our adopted villages development.We are looking forward to work with like minded people like you in adopting new methods, best practices which empowers villages with long term sustainability & inclusive growth with 100% participation.
