Hi All (Some Personal Ids in BCC),
Sorry for sending one more mail on this (I felt , we all have to think about our Govt. Schools from where most of us came).
All of us Should know where is our Leading INDIA (What we are feeling) Going………………
Please see the attached News clips. You can understand , how is the present education level @ our Government schools (Where Govt. Spending Thousands of CRs and employed Lakhs of Qualified Teachers ) .
Some Highlights : Only 15% of 8th class students able to write in their Mother language & 2nd Language (I.e. Telugu, English)
Only 13% of 8th class students able to solve simple mathematics
Even 6th, 7th, 5th class students also in same place.
For more details on our National level educations system, You can refer our ASER (Annual Status of Education Report ) Report which is saying National level education system@ http://goo.gl/wwyzM
** 50% of 5th class students not able to do even two digit subtraction.. (where the Leading INDIA going).
Most of you think, it is just because of Teachers/Govt. problem. Not at all. After we started this ‘Rural School adoption Program’, we understood the some real problems that effecting on our education system.
1. Parents Mind set. As they are not able to pay Private School Fees, they are sending to Govt. School without any expectations on their kids. (Parents not seeing any future engineers/police/..etc in their Kids)
2. As Parent don’t have expectations, they are not sending kids regularly / no follow-up on their kids.
3. Lack of proper required study/activity Material .
4. Lack of Motivation in students/Parents/Teachers.
5. Like this we found some smalls Gaps which we fill, we can bring good results from same schools.
Government already spending more than 10000/- per student per year in Government Schools. In addition to that ,we came out with program where we spend 400/- per student per year just to fill the Gaps and work with our Govt. School for better results. Looking forward for all your participation and suggestions for supporting our Rural Govt. Schools (Which aimed for Empowering our Rural Youth through Education and Skill Development ).
Regards,
