This new forum has great possibilities. It has always been a problem
for us to encourage communication between members and to guage their
feelings on a range of topics. I feel that it is most necessary for
our members to be able to communicate with each other on their
problems, their views of how our SeniorNet is run and how they would
like to see it run.
In the earlier days our communications to members were entirely
through the Newsletter. This did not allow for easy responses from the
members. Also the newsletter was limited to two pages due to the cost
of printing and folding. Then we created the email list and since then
we have been sending out an email version of the newsletter to those
on the list, and getting replies to our comments by email. Now we have
this forum to, hopefully, extend that vital process of communication.
Use it and let's see how it serves us.
Regards,
Chairman
